I attach a photo of the Ganges Dance Band 1950/1, it shows B/M Kim Butler, Cpl Fred Brisley, Jock Halliday, myself and unknown Trom player, Wally Hammond on Bass. This may be of interest to Terry (Freestone) as he wrote his obituary to Fred, I also add that Katherine my wife was in the WRAF Central Band whilst Fred was serving, at the time he was a SNCO, she tells of many stories but most of all what a gentleman he was, and from my experience I concur. Rest in peace Fred. Max and Kath Beare Silverdale 2009
