On Friday March 30th 2012, I was presented with the Diamond Jubilee Medal by His Honour the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. While I wait for the photos to be available, I have attached the Diamond Jubilee Medal Certificate signed by the Governor General of Canada the Right Honourable David Johnston.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, created to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s accession to the throne. Recipients are being honoured for their contributions or distinguished service to their fellow citizens, to their community, and to their country. The award was announced by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and was presented by His Honour, the Honourable Steven Point, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, at a ceremony at Government House in Victoria.
