Ron Champion

Hi Folks, The other day I was listening to a vocal of “The Nearness of You” it was very soft and musical and at the time it brought to mind an arrangement that Dougie Drake did for Ron while we were both in the Band at HMS Phoenicia I remember how Ron played it just like it was today.

Wondered if any one ever made a recording of Ron, I have attached a .pdf file of Ron and I while in the 3rd Commando Band on a trip to Libya in about 1959 I think, I hope you are all well and keeping safe.
