With many other 'bandies' I attended Dave Mullan's funeral this
morning. It was a significant event with many of his former colleagues
present. Colourful, poignant and family orientated it became a
glorious celebration of the life of a man for whom no one had anything
but kind words. I was proud to be there, perhaps representing those
who could not be. We have lost another real character from our Band
Service family which is very sad.
