I offer another snippet from the bottom draw of my filing cabinet, which now has less in it than when it was NEW! I am still trying to clear away 60 odd years of clutter, memorabilia etc. Anyway, I digress, the attached is a photo of Russell 'Taffy' Thomas and I, standing on the Jetty on Elephant Island in Trincomalee, circa early 1958. Compare recent photo's of us both to that one?
