Hello again Dickie, After returning from this years band reunion where I had been talking to ex-bandmaster Jock Brown and recalling a job we had played for a the Mansion House, London, I found this old photo of the said event and thought I would send it on to you. On first desk of violins are Chris' Sheppard and Chris' Kelly (both later to become B/Ms) then black Mackurk cannot remember the next name. On cello' is Rod Williamson (another B/M in the making) and Paul Green string bass. Back row is Anton Gould on flute, me (Nobby Clark) & Tex Pettitt clarinets and just the head of "have horn will travel" Ian Shawcross all ably controlled by the big man Jock Brown. It was a cat IV engagement which Deal had given us, as we never did paying jobs, after our showing that night I think we had a few more. What a great night it was at the reunion seeing more old faces from the past such as Sid Sheard and Charlie Laws. The band display and orchestra in the Cathedral were of course first class. The free beer and wine also helped make it a great night many thanks to all. I am now going to try to include in this letter a cut out from the local evening paper as to what one of the orch' is now doing. All the best Dickie and thanks for all the work you put in, in keeping some of us in touch. Nobby
