I managed to get a few pics of the 2004 Shipwrecks Christmas Dinner
and what a good night it was. Other digi-cameras were around so there
may be other pics to follow. Deal is still alive with ex-bandies and
buglers and Wally and Anita Walton are to be commended for organising
such a great evening and getting everyone together. They arrange 'get
togethers' on a monthly basis and put in so much of their time, but
this particular event was outstanding and they are to be thanked by
everyone there.
Special mentions must also go to Kim and Keith Price for the use of
their restaurant 'Charleighs'
in Deal High Street and their superb staff for providing an excellent
meal and service. Also, Vicky O'Neil for her wonderful musical entertainment
throughout the evening. Just a reminder, the Shipwrecks meet once
month in Deal, every second month in a selected pub and the other
months, in the Deal RMA Club. Anybody visiting the area will be most
welcome to go along and 'swing the lamp'.
