The current PDM made a visit to me on the grounds that as you know, I am not well. This must be a unique occasion as I have never known a PDM make a Parochial visit to anyone, and certainly not to a retired three badge Band Corporal.

My wife and I dined him out to lunch, and I also introduced him to two of my musical friends, one being an Opera Singer and the other being a musician and production director.

So, you can never say no as he indicated to me that there was scope for a RM Band to appear locally for us on some future occasion.....
