Hi Dickie

Unfortunately I could not make John ('Shiner') Wright's funeral but I have been down and spent a couple of days with Betty his partner and with Tony and Ali Oliver who are over from the UK. I have now brought Tony and Ali back to Casa Britannia for the rest of their holiday. Steve ('Fishy') Salmon does not live far from Betty and last night Tina Salmon made us all a smashing curry and 'Fishy' entertained us after dinner on his guitar. It was a memorable evening. Betty is still getting many cards and messages of condolence from 'Shiners' friends and is grateful to all the people who have contacted her. She has plenty of good friends where she lives who are giving her loads of support which was heartwarming to see.

Hope you are keeping well mate and maybe we will get to see you over here in Spain one day soon?
