The Centaur Band are marching through the streets of the city to “show the flag” and reassure the residents that order is restored after we sailed full steam ahead from Aden with the 500 RMs of 45 Commando to put down the Tanganyikan army revolt. We landed them at dawn the previous day and they blew up the guardroom of Colito Barracks then chased them into the bush with many captured. We, the Band, were dealing with the wounded flown in by choppers.
