This years production is ‘Hairy Putter & The Pussy of Doom’ written and directed by Brian Short and featuring Graeme Verroken as Hairy Putter. If the title sounds familiar to other well-known books, films and merchandise, then this is purely coincidental. It is the usual tale of warped humour, men in skirts and general audience abuse. Of course, this is all done in the worst possible taste, but through ticket sales, programme sales and a retiring collection we should be on target to have raised over £200,000 for charities and good causes over the last eight years.

This years show is dedicated to three Panto stalwarts who we have sadly lost in recent months, our Musical Director Phil Hughes, Pete “Tiny” Taylor and most recently Alan “Hooky” Walker. All will be sadly missed,
but fondly remembered.

Each year the funds are divided with approximately 50% of the money raised going to The Royal Marines Charity and the Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust. The remaining money is shared between twenty to thirty local charities and good causes, who receive grants of between £250 & £500 each.
