Sorry for the prolonged absence, but as you know I have been on my travels, and got back home to a poorly wife....

I had a great time at the Hartland Family Reunion in Australia, and then a flying visit to New Zealand, before returning to Australia and later back to the U.K.

I was a little disappointed that I did not meet many ex-bandies in New Zealand, and some I know were in the same town where I was staying, so what can one say....

I eventually met up with my old mucker Bernard Beare and we had one or two dinners together, and I did have one or two days out with Bern and his wife Kath, who I reckon I hadn't seen since about 1957!
